Rev. Craig Bard is the President of Crossfire Ministries Inc., an organization devoted to lost and hurting people. He founded Crossfire Ministries with James 1:27 in mind: Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. At age 41, his ministry has seen many changed lives as people have discovered the healing power of Jesus Christ. His ministry focus is showing others who they are in Christ and allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to penetrate their lives, dissolving their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Craig has a passion for discipleship and servant evangelism. It is his belief that Christ’s love is to be shared and demonstrated, not merely talked about.
He graduated with honors from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a B.S. in Human Services and is earning a Master of Divinity-Pastoral Counseling degree from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. His work experience with social service agencies has allowed him to gain valuable experience with a variety of populations in a variety of settings. He has worked in grief and loss, addictions, homelessness (men and families), domestic violence (men and women), and severe mental illness, including schizophrenia. Craig and his wife Jamie were married in 1999 and have two daughters. The entire family is involved with the ministry and actively serve New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo Indiana.
